![]() As one of the largest Chinese fine art exhibitions ever held the United States with over 900 fine art prints, the exhibition showcases rare historical work by Chinese photographers from the 1930s and 1940s as well as 28 contemporary documentary and conceptual photographic artists. Master printer and founder of Q-Imaging, Gao Lei, who is celebrated in China for his photographs encircling war and politics helped to organize the FotoFest Meeting Place. The majority of the Chinese photography exhibitions, over 900 photographs are printed by Gao Lei and his founding company, Q-Image Lab in Beijing. ![]() 1999-2008 Conceptual and Staged Work CANG Xin, Trance, from the series Man and Sky as One - 2 HP Print Center at FotoFest Meeting Place As part of the FOTOFEST2008 Meeting Place, FotoFest’s International portfolio review program for photographers, HP will host the HP Print Center on on March 8th, 13th, and 18th, at the Houston DoubleTree Hotel. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the next generation of professional fine art pigment printers first-hand in the HP Print Center.
