2007 The Kentucky Bourbon Festival - Bardstown, Kentucky
The Kentucky Bourbon Festival runs from Sept. 11th to the 16th.
Since 1776, the people of Bardstown, Kentucky have been making Bourbon. Their dedication to the fine art of distilling eventually gave Bardstown the title of Bourbon Capital of the World. Come celebrate this passion and history at The Kentucky Bourbon Festival.
The Kentucky Bourbon Festival gives you a weekend full of smooth Bourbon, delicious food, and great entertainment, with a healthy dose of Kentucky hospitality thrown in for good measure. 2007 State Fair of Oklahoma - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
State Fair of Oklahoma runs from Sept. 13 to Sept. 23.
The State Fair of Oklahoma, held annually at State Fair Park, features everything from rodeos to live music. Originally an agricultural fair, the event still includes livestock competitions and displays, but has now become a celebration for the whole state and an unmissable event on the Oklahoma City calendar.

2007 80th Annual Feast of San Gennaro - New York, New York
The 80th Annual Feast of San Gennaro, New York City's oldest, biggest and best religious street festival, will be celebrated starting Thursday, September 13, and continuing for 11 days through Sunday, September 23, 2007.
Presented annually since 1996 by Figli di San Gennaro, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, this year’s Feast will again bring more than 1 million people to the streets of Little Italy in the annual salute to the Patron Saint of Naples. The street festivities – including religious processions and parades, free entertainment, food stands and a professional cannoli-eating contest – are capped on September 19th with a celebratory Mass and candlelit procession as the Statue of the Saint is carried from its permanent home in Most Precious Blood Church on Mulberry Street.

2007 Austin City Limits Music Festival - Austin, Texas
The Austin City Limits Music Festival runs from Sept. 14th to the 16th.
The annual Austin City Limits Music Festival presents three days of music from around 130 bands on eight stages in Austin's beautiful Zilker Park.
Highlights of the extensive and eclectic 2007 line-up include Joss Stone, Regina Spektor, Ziggy Marley, Pete Yorn, The Legendary Strippers, Damien Rice, Willy Mason, Sahara West, Amos Lee, Young Love, The Little Ones, The Greyhounds, Kevin Devine and Asleep At The Wheel.

2007 Celtic Fest Chicago - Chicago, Illinois
Celtic Fest Chicago runs from Sept. 15th to the 16th.
The inaugural Celtic Fest Chicago took place September 21-22, 1997 on Columbus Drive and Jackson Boulevard in Grant Park. Its lofty goal was to educate the public on Celtic music and culture from 7 Celtic nations. Those nations are Ireland; Scotland; Isle of Man; Cornwall; Wales; Galicia, Spain; and Brittany, France.
The festival is unusual in that it highlights different Celtic instruments at two of its tents - the Harp Tent and Uilleann Pipe Tionól (featuring the Irish bagpipe). Among the other stages are a dance performance stage, as well as an interactive tent where the general public an learn how to Celtic dance. Another stage is dedicated to showcasing young students who are keeping the Celtic music scene alive.
Currently, the event has 9 stages featuring over 150 performances. In addition, there is a bagpipe area; a Kids' Oasis; the Scottish Heavy Athletics Competition, Sheepherding Demonstrations; a coffee and tea garden, as well as several Celtic themed restaurants.

2007 Portland Pirate Festival - Portland, Oregon
Portland Pirate Festival runs from Sept. 22 to the 23rd.
Explore tall ships, celebrate buccaneer music, and thrill to cannon and sword fighting demonstrations at Portland's newest family festival, under the St. John's Bridge in historic Cathedral Park. 2007 Art Car Fest - Berkeley, California
Billed as "The West Coast's Largest Gathering of Art Cars!" ArtCar Fest is one of the most unique auto-themed events in the country. The four day festival kicks off with a caravan of ArtCars over a mile long cruising around Fisherman's Wharf, the Bay Bridge and the streets of Berkeley and San Francisco.
In case you're wondering exactly what an ArtCar is, according to ArtCar Fest Co-Founder Philo Northrup, "ArtCars are street–legal vehicles that have been permanently transformed into mobile sculptures. These aren’t parade–floats, they’re registered, insured automobiles that artists work on for years and exhibit to anyone who will look up.”

2007 The Fryeburg Fair - Fryeburg, Maine
The Fryeburg Fair runs from Sept. 27 to Oct. 7th.
The Fair is Maine's largest agricultural fair during the spectacular fall foliage season. Not content with simply showing off their wares, the Fryeburg locals have been running this competition-based fair for nearly a century. The events planned include everything from the animal (largest bull, baby beef auction, horse-pulling contest) to the vegetable (heaviest pumpkin, tastiest blueberry pie).
