Garage sales are a wonderful way to clear your house of things you're no longer using. Posters advertising your sale may bring in potential customers, but put pictures of some of your treasures on the posters and you'll really whet their appetites.

Take a photo of a few colorful objects, and highlight one or two special ones with individual pictures. If you can, create the entire poster on your computer and make as many copies as you need. Otherwise, paste the photos on one print-out and photocopy it. To protect the ink from running, spray the paper with a polyurethane or acrylic sealer, or use a plastic laminate, such as transparent Con-Tact.
